Use the labeled quantity

Record the actual net mass and selected solid-product price. The tool can calculate a per100g purchase ratio, but it cannot infer the bar’s volume or density from its appearance.

Keep uses unmeasured

A claim such as equivalent to several bottles needs its own defined evidence. We have not measured wear rate, application amount or the number of washes from a solid conditioner.

Avoid a universal conversion

Do not compare a gram price with a milliliter price as if the denominators matched. A smaller package or less packaging alone does not establish a tested lifetime or a full environmental comparison.

A practical distinction to keep

A bar’s gram price and a bottle’s milliliter price can both be shown without declaring one cheaper in an equivalent-use sense. The ratio of use counts would need actual product evidence. Our tools deliberately avoid a bottles-replaced estimator because no verified wear-rate or density record has been established for a solid product here.

Before you decide

  • Save exact product, use category and directions
  • Keep grams separate from volume units
  • Refresh selected price and unresolved label details
