Briogeo Smoothing Conditioner directions say up totwominutes before rinsing. JVN’s main directions say to apply to mid-lengths and ends and rinse. We do not impose one product’s timing on another.

Keep the label first

Follow the exact current product instructions. This site has not tested extended contact time,combing force or a personal hair response and does not promise extra benefit from leaving a rinse-out product longer.

A practical distinction to keep

A time printed between application and rinsing belongs to that specific product. The checked3-5minute Verb instruction and up-to-two-minute Briogeo instruction do not establish a universal rule for every conditioner. We do not calculate a combined exposure time or recommend extending it to obtain a promised result.
